Available in both Classic and CompetitionThe Purple Pork Masters were crowned 2012 Grand Champions of the National Pork Barbeque Championship at the Safeway Barbeque Battle in Washington, DC.
The two day competition, held June 23 - 24, 2012, brought together competitors from all over the country. The prestigious National Pork Championship, sponsored by the National Pork Board, is the official national championship of the National Pork Industry. The Purple Pork Masters bested 41 other teams in this event.
In addition, the Pork Masters scored a third place in the Ribs competition as well as third in the Safeway Select Meaty Ribs contest.
